Timothé's pictorial research is rooted in an observation of reality mediated through photographic imagery. He paints from his own photographs or from images found on Google Street View, selected through a meticulous process of scouting and exploration. 

This approach, at the crossroads of travel and virtual wandering, allows him to capture landscapes

and everyday scenes often imbued with a suspended atmosphere. Color lies at the heart of his work. His bright and contrasted palette echoes the RGB tones of the digital realm, recalling the pervasive presence of screens in our perception of the world.

Between the observation of reality and contemporary visual culture, his paintings transpose the banality of daily life into an almost artificial light—both familiar and detached.
